For next year, I am offering a special
collaborative workshop. We will begin with a one day felting workshop
with our own talented San Diego area fiber artist, Arlene
Watson. Followed by my bead embellishment workshop using your
felted creation from Arlene's workshop day as the base. Two wonderful
textures, Fibers and Beads joined together into a beautiful Clutch
Purse you will be proud to wear!  Would
you rather make something other than a Clutch Purse? Make a longer
piece of Nuno Felt, add a strap, and you have a great looking beaded
felted bag. Or, reshape your felt fabric into a cuff, card or cell
phone holder. It is your choice. Felt can be cut, stitched, embellished
and shaped into many wonderful things! This is a special workshop created just for this retreat. Imagine spending the week at the beach. Take a walk along the bay, or cross the street to the surf side. Have a bit of breakfast while taking in the lovely view. After breakfast, the creating begins! The Beach House was a perfect venue for us. Plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Warm and homey and the view is amazing! We took some great pictures during the 2010 retreat! There is historic Belmont Park which has one of the oldest wood
framed roller coasters in the world. Across from the beach is Mission
Bay and Sail Bay. It is just as lovely. I sailed there for 20 years
and it is still one of my favorite places to spend time. |

| Private Rooms: There is a wonderful, big, private room up stairs with it's own balcony and bath and a queen size bed. It is available for $400 extra for the week if someone wants to have their own room. Another Private room downstairs with a view into the enclosed patio. It would be $300 extra for the week to have alone. Queen bed bathroom, just outside the door. |

| Terms & Conditions: Please review and understand the following terms and conditions for travel before registering for your trip to The San Diego Beach House Bead Retreat. Placing your deposit signifies that you understand and agee with these terms. | |||||||||||||||||
| Trip Cost: The trip cost includes
lodging, workshop tuition, Breakfast and Lunch. Not included in the
price is airfare to and from the destination, travel and medical insurance,
alcoholic beverages, project supplies outside the basic kit, and dinners. You are responsible for your own airfare and ground transportation. You must make your own reservations for travel to and from Lindburgh Field in San Diego, airport code, SAN and the beach house. The airport is about 15 minutes to Mission Beach. If you wish to rent a car, be aware that there is almost no parking at the beach house. Usually only one parking spot is available there. I will have my car there. Lots of restaurants and shops are within walking distance. It is a great walking town. Prices quoted are in US dollars or Euros and based on current tariffs, rates and exchange, taxes, levies, and costs. Payment is made in US dollars at the currency exchange rate at the time of invoicing. Should any of the costs substantially change, such as a substantial hike in the foreign currency conversion rate, there may be an adjustment to the price of the trip. |

| Payment: A $400 Non Refundable deposit is required to book the trip. |

| Another $450, is due by September 1, 2010. This payment including your deposit will equal 50% of the trip fees, $850. | |||||||||||||||||
| The Balance, $700 is due by October 31, 2010 | |||||||||||||||||
| Total cost of the trip, $1550 is due by October 31, 2010. | |||||||||||||||||
| People signing up after October 31, 2009 must pay in full. | |||||||||||||||||
| Payment may be made by check, money order or credit card (credit card payment is subject to a 3% handling fee). Payment in full is due by October 31, 2010. People signing up after October 31, 2010 must pay in full. You may use the shopping cart on my website to make your payments. | |||||||||||||||||
| Trip Cancellation/Refunds: If you need to cancel your trip, you must do so in writing. The following cancellation fees will apply: |

| • 30 days or more prior to departure, 100% of any fees NOT already paid to the owner of the Beach House for hotel, transport, or other purposes will be refunded, less the deposit. | |||||||||||||||||
| • 8 to 29 days prior to departure, 50% of any fees NOT already paid to secure the Beach House rental, or other purposes will be refunded, less the deposit. | |||||||||||||||||
| • Within 7 days of departure, there will be no refund. | |||||||||||||||||
| If The San Diego Beach House Bead Retreat
classes cancel due to insufficient registrations, a full refund will
be made. You are responsible for airline fees as Jeannette Cook does not book airline travel. |

Cancellation policy of The San Diego Beach House Bead Retreat: All cancellations are subject to a 20% handling fee. Reservations cancelled prior to 90 days, 50% is refundable. Less than 60 days, 25% is refundable. Less than 45 days prior to rental, rental fee paid is non-refundable. |
